Kalundborg’s surrounding nature is one of Denmark's most beautiful and dramatic. The varied, rolling landscape combined with the countless, beautiful, panoramic views make for a breathtaking setting. There are plentiful ways to enjoy a day in the scenic landscape – biking, hiking, sailing, riding or golf.

BonBon-Land

Here, you find attractions with plenty of action for the older children and suitable rides for the smaller ones.

The entire family can experience this year's brand-new "Bon-cinema" – a 4D cinema. You will also find the wildest roller coasters (with and without water), rafting, carousels, a free-fall tower, boats, cars, cowboy city, playgrounds, children's theatre and much more. Water sports

In the still shallow waters, in the interior of Gisseloere it is possible to test your windsurfer or sea kayaker abilities.

Windsurfers and kayaks must be booked in advance.

Kalundborg Golf Course

One of Denmark's most beautifully situated golf courses - with Kalundborg Fjord on one side and Sejeroe Bay on the other.

Adventure golf at Vesterlyng

At Vesterlyng camp site you will find one of Denmark's finest mini adventure golf courses with 12 holes. It has plenty of challenges for the entire family, including sand traps, running water, artificial turf and many levels. Combine a round here with a trip to the beach.

Kragerup Go High

A treetop experience of nature and challenges, you will never forget.
Kragerup Go High is a 2 km activity course with 57 different challenges meandering through beech and pine forest. You are up in the air, you are active, you interact with others and you face tasks that challenge a variety of your senses.

The course is situated in the beautiful park belonging to the estate. On your way through the course, you have views of the main building, the moat and lake, as well as panoramic views of the Great Belt Bridge.

Bicycle Tours

Feel the wind in your hair and take in all the scents of the country. From the spicy flowers on the roadside, the cows in the fields, the breeze blowing off the sea or the warm scent of dry grass and summer days.

A bicycle ride around Kalundborg and its surroundings offers routes through spectacularly changing landscape; in some places water and land come together as one; in others, the coastal landscape rises sharp and steep. You ride through picturesque harbours, quaint villages, dramatic glacial landscapes and then straight into surrounding cities.

A bicycle guide is available via booking and contains nine planned routes offering you the best scenic experiences. All tours are loop tours, i.e. they begin and end in the same place.

Along the coasts of Roesnaes and Asnaes there are many beautiful fishing spots.

Put-and-take

The lake of approx. 50,000 m2 is stocked with trout in sizes from 0.5 to 8 kg. Besides great fishing opportunities, the area offers beautiful nature experiences.

There are picnic tables and benches, both outdoors and indoors.

Riding

Enjoy Kalundborg’s beautiful countryside on horseback!

Take a ride on steady and manageable Icelandic horses. The riding tours are for both experienced and first-time riders.

Brief instructions are provides before the tour, so the rider feels entirely comfortable with the horse. It is, of course, possible to lend a riding helmet.
